Great host, room is neat & tidy. Love that it has a toaster, fridge & kettle. Bowls & cutlery to make breakfast. Room has a little dining table, bed has a electric blanket. Perfect for a few nights stay.

Staying for work, i just needed a bed for the night. |The room was neat, clean and very dark to sleep in-had all the amenities you would expect, and all in good good condition.|A quick 2 minute drive to the town was convenient for dinner options, but far enough that there was no road noise.

Nothing fancy but a pleasant stay. Comfortable beds, fantastic water pressure in the shower and excellent customer service. Will definitely stay here again when passing through Gisborne.

Very tidy, simple, clean, and comfortable. Andrew is really friendly. Hardly any traffic noise. Good wifi. Strong shower. I only ever stay 3 star on the road and this was a great 3 star motel.

Very clean and tidy room. Nice host. The beds are great, with a heated blanket. Large TV on the wall to watch from bed or the table. The room offers microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, iron, DVD player, dishes and cutlery, free tea, coffee, sugar and milks, etc. It was a very comfortable stay, I've liked it more than a 4 star I've stayed at so idk why it's only 3 star, probably just because it doesn't have things like a pool and such that would add a star. Also the garden behind the rooms is nice, and the bathroom is very clean too. Room has heating, I can't comment on cooling as I stayed in winter. Definitely recommend, we'll be going here again for sure.

Booked here for 2 nights as we were heading this way for the weekend. We arrived early and Andrew our host was great, very helpful. Nice and close to town centre only a 2 minute drive. Rooms very spacious clean and tidy, country atmosphere. …

Lovely little motel, clean and super friendly owner. Have to give he and their staff 5 stars. My son left a bag with cash and expensive items behind. Owner rang us that morning and we were able to collect. Everything was all there. Look it’s not the ritz, but it’s well maintained, quiet, has wifi an excellent shower and amazing staff.

The owner of the motel was a great man, he was showed us the room we were going to be staying in before payment, told us of the best places to eat in town and gave us a few complimentary drinks for our stay. The room itself was very clean and tidy. Over my stay in Melbourne I have stayed at many motels but this one is by far the best. Nothing but good things to stay about this motel.

Old school, straight to the point , clean, tidy , has everything you’ll need including the bible in the dresser , cheap at $200 a night . We need more places like this, privacy is good too, great location .. really enjoyed my stay
